Credit Reporting Agencies:
Are NOT government organizations. They are for-profit multi-million dollar corporations that make money collecting and selling your information. Frequently the bureaus are fined by the FTC for false or incorrect information on consumer credit reports. The worst part is that the bureaus make so much more money from bad and poor credit consumers that they are eager to retain negative information an omit positive information. The fines are miniscule compared to the profits. |

The process is
designed from top to bottom to be as simple as
possible and expedite the process of cleaning up
your credit.
Here is how it
works:
Fax or Email your credit reports to us. If you
don't have current copies you can get them free
from
http://www.annualcreditreport.com. This
service is free to all consumers one time per
year. You can immediately print your report from
the three major credit reporting agencies. Fax
your reports to (719)-387-1219 and contact our
office at 888-269-2950 for a free credit
analysis.
After you complete the enrollment process we
will immediately contact all three credit
bureaus to have the items deleted, changed or
updated depending on what will improve your
score and overall credit picture.
After 30-45 days the bureaus will send you new
credit reports in the mail with the results of
our actions and the outcome of their
investigations.
At that point some items will be completed while
other items will require more work depending on
the nature of your case. Simply mail the reports
to our office so that we may track the bureau
responses and respond to them accordingly.
Continue sending us responses as you receive
them and each month your credit picture will
improve over time. Generally we see 30-45% of
the negative items fixed in the first 45 days
and our tenacity will win out against the credit
bureaus in the long run.

Fast Credit Facts
Paid Collections:
Many consumers believe that when they pay a
collection their score improves or the
collection mark is automatically removed from
the credit file. Nothing could be further from
the truth. The sad truth is that paying a
collection will rarely improve your score and
only in RARE instances does the collection
agency remove the mark. More often the account
is updated as a "paid" collection which simply
makes the collection mark remain on your credit
file and continue to damage your credit score.
Credit Inquiries:
Credit Inquiries DO impact your score. Do Not
let a lender or bank tell you that multiple
inquiries will not damage your score. IT'S NOT
TRUE. Each individual inquiry WILL decrease your
score 2-7 points on average. Most lenders and
brokers will shop your credit around creating
numerous inquiries that reduce your score.
Sometimes the inquiries will even reduce your
score so far that you can no longer get your
loan from the company that created all the
inquiries.
